Lanka Maritime Services Ltd has the creditability of breaking the monopolistic of bunkering operations in Sri Lanka. Established as a long standing Bunker Trader and a Bunker Supplier in Sri Lanka and offers outstanding bunkering services to customers during last decade. Currently remain as a major physical bunker supplier of all the ports in Sri Lanka (Colombo/ Galle / Trincomalee) as well as in Indian Ocean, South Asia and Middle East. Sources bunkering products from the major physical bunker suppliers around the world. Majority of bunkering products its supply is sourced from BP Singapore and Additional stocks are directly supplied by leading and reputed oil suppliers from UAE, giving assurance of reliability for it’s quality.
Owned fleet of Oil Tankers for transport bunkering products from the Middle East and Singapore which are in high standards and complies with ISPS, ISM Certification and in compliance with all international conventions and regulations. Our Fuel tanker/barge capacities vary from 600 MT to 7500 MT and pumping rates are as high as 600 cubic meters per hour. All Fuel tankers/barges are equipped with two segregations which enables us to carry both bunkering products (i.e. IFO and MGO) and which make easier in bunkering operations and provides greater flexibility for bunkering servicing at different locations in Sri Lanka and international waters.
Offshore Bunker Deliveries
Lanka Maritime Services Ltd. owns and operates three coastal tankers for delivery of Bunkers, Lubricants, freshwater, etc. within Port Limits, Offshore and Coastal. All vessels comply with the requirements of the Marine Pollution & Prevention Authority and comply with the safety standards.
Our Bunkering Standards
Guarantee ISO 8217:2005 quality specifications on all bunker fuels supplied and seek to maintain Sulphur levels substantially lower than the required standard.
(eg. MGO is currently <0.5% and the IFO is <3.5%).Fully compliant with MARPOL Annex VI & provide MSDS and all bunkering deliveries are carried out in line with SS 600 guidelines. (Singapore’s Recommended Procedure for Bunker Supplies).
Possess both floating and ground storage facilities for both IFO & MGO products.
Supply bunkers through the local agencies and the global network of bunker brokers/traders and have established relationships with leading bunkering brokers around the world. Also supply bunkers in port of Colombo to main liners/feeder vessels and process exclusively with some of principals for their bunker requirements.
